You mentioned in your blog about not getting enough sleep due to donkey cries and it reminded me about Staten Islands favorite annoying animal: The Turkey. While stopping in where mom works (SIUH) I saw a momma turkey and her little baby and thought you might like to know that the Turkeys on Staten Island are still invading the hospital and are pro-creating constantly. No shortage here! By the time you are back, some Politician will for sure pass a law allowing you to shoot your very own Thanksgiving TUrkey. My First Real Haircut, thanks to Aunt Claire

Hi, Aunt Claire. Per your recommendation last time you saw me, my mother got my hair cut. Well, first she attacked my scraggly hair with a pair of kitchen shears, chopping it into what she thought was a cute bob. It looked great while wet. Then it dried. Then we went to a professional. Thank you for giving my mom the nudge she needed to get my hair into an Aunt Claire-approved style.

We are so excited about your adventure in Mali, Africa. We can't wait to hear all about the trials and tribulations of life over there and look forward to following YOUR blog. When you left, you mentioned how sad it will be to miss out on things happening State Side. Well, have no fear, this blog is here!! We decided it would be fun to create a blog that we can all update videos, pictures and stories about happenings here in NYC and across the country. Tune into this blog whenever you are a little homesick and we will entertain you consistently!!

Since you've left not much has happened but alas, we will be posting the mundane life too!! I think a new traffic light when up on Forest Avenue and the Jersey Shore reality TV show has come back on too, I think.

Anyway, keep a look out for funny things happening over here and we will be sure to keep you entertained. Cant wait to follow your blog as well!! We all miss you and love you and are terribly excited about the next 27 months!
